Here’s how to turn that chat box into your personal career coach.
1. The “Mind Reader” Move:
Predicting the Questions; don’t guess what they’ll ask. ChatGPT can practically tell you.
•The Trick:
Paste the Job Description and your Resume into the chat.
The Prompt: “I’m interviewing for [Job Title] at [Company]. Based on this job description and my resume, what are the 10 most likely behavioral and technical questions they’ll ask me?“
2. The STAR Method (Without the Headache):
Structure is where most of us fail. We ramble. Using the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result) keeps you on track.
•The Practice: Give ChatGPT a rough, messy version of a story from your past.
The Prompt: “Here is a story about a time I handled a difficult client. Help me structure this using the STAR method so it’s punchy and shows off my problem-solving skills.“
3. The Live Mock Interview (Voice Mode is Key)This is the game-changer. If you have the ChatGPT app, use Voice Mode. It turns the experience from a “typing test” into a real conversation.
•The Setup: Tell it to act as a “tough but fair hiring manager.”

Don’t just settle for “Good job!” Ask the AI to be critical.
